Here they really wanna scare the kids--and the adults...
These are some posters for some Halloween parties in popular clubs here, where people can get scared out of their minds by that--Egyptian Joker furry collared half Ram half dead man thing in this poster...
I hate scary things...
or this one:
(note: if your young children are watching over your shoulder-cover their eyes--anime black lace masked evil mooning woman alert! )

Huh?
I really am ashamed to be posting this picture...
but...
what
does it mean?
How does this poor bare-assed woman have anything to do with the Eve of Destruction?
Halloween is weird.
But I like the idea of Samhain...sorta... look it up here!
So another WARNING:
for anyone who is still following my blog, I am going to be posting, in the coming days, a couple of posts that maybe I should warn you about...( I know my readership has declined in the past weeks since I've gotten...umm...political...not to mention long winded... you think I don't check my statistics?)
....anyway--I will be posting one post VERY soon about why I really, sincerely feel that this election is SUPER important and that you really should consider voting for Barrack H. Obama...
and!
And!!!
AND!!!!!
You GUYS!
I'm going to start posting a serial!
I'm writing a novel--memoir--prose-- sorta thing and I'm gonna start posting installments on here!
Its sorta kinda a thinly veiled, but still filled with lots of made up stuff, account of my emotional, political, theoretical, artistic and spiritual journey here in Moscow...
and it might be kinda intense sometimes...
so
just...
ya know...
WARNING you!

is it too wicked to admit i really like(covet) the naked lady's hair?
i am excited for the seria, i will be waiting.
also, let's see if you can convince me to vote for obama. i am still undecided. and i live in a state where my vote will really matter!
Why is there porn on your blog?
Andy is still undecided, maybe you should convince him.
I miss you Nate!
You might appreciate my costume today, even all the way in Moscow. My roommate and I are dressed as "sister wives". We've got the denim dresses, the boots, high bun in the hair, with very righteous bangs (mine are higher than my roomies, which means I'm more righteous than she is).
Funny the way they scare people out of their wits in other countries like Russia. Those Rooskies! Love you mucho!
i am excited for the new posts although i have enjoyed the previous ones. i love the "bare-assed woman"....lol.
You need to post on Obama NOW! We only have three days left. I mean, I already know he's who I'm voting for, but other people need help.
I love the history of Halloween and just think it is such a fun, evolved holiday. Although I do hate the people who think it has to mean thrillers or horror movies. That's taking it too far. I don't think that kind of scary is "fun."
I CANNOT wait for your serial, either! I think you are such a great writer. You're not doing anything there in Russia, so GET ON IT!
How did you get that picture of me? I love Halloween. When the in world are you coming home?
I think in former USSR they have a really distorted picture of what Halloween celebration is. Let's not forget that much like St Valentine's it's a "foreign" holiday back there, but whereas with Valentine everything is pretty clear - it's "give-the-person-you-date-red-heart-shaped-crap" holiday, Halloween for some reason went into a really dark place. Speaking for myself, it's one of my favourite holidays here in the US, because it is like permission to anyone to be silly in a good way. I especially like that people come to work in costumes.
